Early stage

Hosted accounts are live, but wallet checkout, email proof, and the signed desktop lane are still being hardened.

FreeX

Web control plane

Continue serious prompt work without turning the browser into noise.

The hosted lane now gives each account its own continuity memory, usage truth, and pricing posture. The desktop workstation is still the deeper surface, and the site says that plainly.

Hosted allowance
12 prompt runs

Enough to prove the browser workflow without hiding the limits.

Continuity memory
24 saved items

Each account keeps its own visible context trail instead of inheriting seeded demo rows.

Desktop posture
Full workstation

The macOS app still carries the strongest continuation, provider, and recovery story.

Illustrated FreeX workstation scene with a laptop, notes, and a calm desk setup.
The browser lane is real and usable for account setup, continuity memory, and plan visibility, but the desktop app remains the deepest FreeX surface today.

Use the web for accounts and continuity. Pull the desktop app in when the work needs the full lane.

What is already real

The browser lane is intentionally narrow, but it is no longer fake.

It handles account setup, continuity memory, plan visibility, and future billing groundwork without pretending the entire hosted product is finished.

One account shape

Email, GitHub, and wallet identity are being brought into one continuity record instead of fragmenting the user across lanes.

Now shipping

Continuity that stays attached

Saved context belongs to the account that created it, not to a generic preview state.

Now shipping

Visible usage truth

The dashboard shows what has been used, what remains, and what resets later.

Now shipping

Desktop pairing, not replacement

The browser lane handles accounts and pricing posture while the desktop app stays the deeper workstation.

Pricing posture

Desktop app

Download truth for the full FreeX workstation

macOS first

Provider diagnostics, local persistence, packaged proof, and deeper project continuity still live in the desktop lane. The web account is there to support it, not replace it.

  1. Clone the FreeX repository from GitHub.
  2. Run `npm install` in the repo root, then `npm run desktop:dev` for development or `npm run desktop:bundle:mac` to build a local app bundle.
  3. Set your OpenAI API key in the local environment before the first hosted prompt transform.
  4. Use the web account later for billing, identity linking, and future cross-surface continuity.
Signed macOS buildIn progress

The notarized DMG is still being prepared. This page will point to it as soon as the release lane is fully verified.

Source install todayAvailable now

Clone the repo, install dependencies, and run the desktop shell locally if you need the full workstation today.

Hosted account pairingRecommended

Create the web account first so billing, identity, and future sync settings already exist when the desktop lane lands.

Start calmly

Create the account in the browser now. Bring in the desktop workstation when the job gets heavier.
